Her liver failed and we don't know why. She looks much like your girl! Her urine was dark orange on a Tues morning, took her in, found fluid in her belly, she was throwing up and was jaundiced. She, too, handled it well and wagged her tail every day. On Friday morning, the vet called to say the tail wasn't wagging, she was suffering and there wasn't a thing we could do to fix her. We went in and were with her when she crossed the bridge. I'm on GreyTalk under Mom2Comet - I posted our story there. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure Comet has had the chance to meet Harmony and hopefully they got to play together. Again, we're so sorry for your loss. We lost our Comet (8) in September.
